Should cat eats be mandatory, period?
Today we live in a world full of overprofessionalization. People dress up in stuffy suits to try to impress others. We need to move in the opposite direction, towards a world full of joy and whimsy. While there are many steps on the way to deprofessionalization, there's an obvious first step: mandatory cat ears. We must mandate cat ears in communal spaces: schools, workspaces, buses, etc. The government must provide cat ears to all.
I posit that overprofessionalization is one of the worst plauges affecting modern America. People go to work and become their "worksona", separated from their real self, feeling disconnecting from what they want to really do in their life. We must fight this scourage on America by ushering a new world where people aren't bound by the chains of acting like a normal human, succuming to societal pressure.
Requiring cat ears will help lead our society to one where people are free to express their true, authentic, self without the need to conform to the body they were born with. Mandating cat ears sends a bold message: we will welcome you however you want to be, and you can be free to be your authentic self. Nobody should be required to act as a professional office drone; requiring cat ears will catapult us into a world without that.
