Yelp review of the garden of Eden
The first thing one notices when entering eden is the attire. Or rather, the lack thereof. No one was wearing anything at all. Which does contribute to a rather memorable atmosphere, but is perhaps not the most hygeinic choice for a restaurant.
Then again, maybe it doesn't matter. It's not like they have any real food either, just some stupid apples. Mid tier apples, for that matter. They taste like Trader JOe's.
The receptionist is a snake, which is kind of weird. I mean, he speaks English so I guess the job is done, but someone from outside the door keeps saying how I shouldn't listen to him or something. He seemed really invested in me eating the apples...
The thing i object to the most is that two of the people there were very involved with each other. they didn't seem to care about me, they were more invested in their own thing. this created a lot of middle school flashback for me, people being exclusionary.
That said, the environment was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful trees, jungle-like vines. Fresh water and sun that's not too warm, but warm enough. The server was a monkey and a dog. And the food was very good too.
Taht said, when I ate the apple, I was kickeed out. 1/5.
